    The breakfast was particularly good, breads and cheese - all reasonably priced. I stayed in the room that was kept clean and available with all necessary kitchen equipment and three baths, for instance. Also, location was particularly good, at walking distance from Praia do Paraiso.

    The Monte Santo Resort ticked all the boxes to make our short stay memorable. The staff were extremely helpful, especially the receptionist who patiently directed us to the Resort over the phone on our first day when we got lost. The suite we stayed in was of an extremely high standard, among the most highly specked we have ever stayed in.

    Very impressed with the quality of the accommodation and with the outdoor and indoor swimming pool complex. We did not get a chance to sample lunch or dinner but the breakfasts were very good. All staff we dealt with were friendly and efficient.

    I did not understand the rule that babies/toddlers with nappies could not use the pools. Babies/toddlers wearing swimming nappies should be able to use pools and I have never seen this rule before.

    A relaxing escape with friendly staff and spacious apartments. The scenic view from our unit captivated us each morning. Great amenities like the indoor pool and spa provided a perfect balance to our stay. While we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, it could use a refresh in some areas. Dining variety could also be enhanced.

    Everything was well-maintained, so were lovely views of both the sea AND the resort. The room was comfy and wonderful, the bed was lovely. It was in a beautiful and brilliant location near to different activities, Faro airport and located in the prettiest part of the Algarve. Really enjoyed my time here.

    The hotel was a beautiful hotel. Our suite was gorgoeous really well equipped and comfortable. Very good beakfast selection and staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Pools were lovely and always plenty of sun loungers(Spetember when we visited) Loved the fact there was a complimntary shuttle bus every 2 hours into the village. Very relaxing week there

    I did not like that there was a spa advertised on the website but in fact it was an area by the pool that u have to arrange someone from their sister hotel in Villamoura to come over for massages hence we did not use it. At the hotel it was advertised as the Spa Outdoor Experience but to me a massage table by a kiddies pool and it was also where they give out the towels is not a spalike experience.

    We were impressed with view and outlook from our town house, the quietness was very good although there were a lot of young children. The whole setting and buildings were lovely.

    We did not think it was 5 star. The club house did not match up to our expectations. There were several things we had to complain about the house we were in although they acted quickly to please us.

    The suite was fantastic. Bed, sheets etc., carpeting, bathroom fittings, facilities in room all top class. Leisure facilities like gym and pool were terrific.

    Everythig! Loved it from start to finish! The apartment was fab, the resort was lovely.

    The room was huge and fantastic, we had a microwave oven, coffee & tea makers and refrigerators. We had a delightful view of both the sea AND the resort and a very comfy bed.

    Some of the staff were not very helpful.

    The spacious townhouse was perfect for our family, with a comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen. Breakfast offered great gluten-free options.

    In my wife's opinion, a family-friendly kids' menu would be great.
